This is a completely CASEd card! But isn't it lovely?? This has to be one of the prettiest cards IRL I've ever made. Classic and simply stated. If you don't follow Nicole's blog for PTI updates and info, you should for just the inspiration!! Besides Cathleen in my Ladies' Ink group, there isn't anyone I've ever found that I just outright CASE!! I usually change something to my own taste... but these two extremely talented women are so great at the what they do, they take it to another level and there isn't anything else to do but CASE it (which means... Copy And Steal Everything!! just make sure you give credit where credit is due!!).
So, PTI everything: Vanilla base cs (and ink), Kraft cs, Poppy cs, ribbon, and ink, and PTI stamp.
Enjoy!

Thanksgiving Layout
Last November, Jake was in a Thanksgiving program. It was SO good! We laughed at the funny parts and were so proud that he learned his lines. It was great. I had a lot of fun using my cricut with this and cutting out some stamped images too. I used paper I'd had for awhile and a sketch that I found in my book. What's funny is that when Jake and I were looking at the layout (after I was done, he could still remember and tell me all the meanings of the drawings on the vest that represented different things).

Valentine bookmarks for the boys
These are the bookmarks he gave to the boys in his class, keeping one for himself and giving one to his dad. Aren't they cute?? I used scraps for the 2 dinos, cricut to cut them out, design studio to "flip" the bottom one. My son picked out which dinos to use, the colors they should be, and he taped them down. It is PTI cs (so they would be a good weight). And, just like the girls, he did the verse, his name, and I laminated them.
Lots of fun!

Jake's Valentine gifts
This was a great idea from Mish's blog for Valentine's gifts for Jake's friends (girls), teacher, and me! Jake actually did quite a bit for this project and he did almost all of the bookmarks for the boys (to be seen in another post). He stamped the hearts, helped cut out the circles and scallops, taped everything together, and on the back wrote a bible verse (his idea!!) and his name (he had to do that 16 times... 8 for the girl bookmarks and 8 for the boy bookmarks!!).
Then, I ran them through my Xyron to laminate them.
Enjoy!

Cards for the Kids
I made these cards for the kids for Valentine's day (better late than never!). I used cardstock and stamped my own background on Jake's card (the red one). The used PTI bitty dot paper as one strip, brown cs and another strip of red cs to stamp the sentiment. Some red stickles for bling and that was it (needs to be simple for a 6yo boy!) For the other just a simple combo of brown, pink, and red. I also used red stickles on the red heart stamp (polka dots), and used brown bitty dot paper for the strip.
The inside sentiment stamp says "Celebrating what you mean to our family."
Both card sketches are Mojo Monday sketches.
Enjoy!
