Today my oldest is graduating from kindergarten! (Personally I think it is still a teeny bit silly to graduate from kindergarten, but this is what his school is doing, he is SUPER excited, so I am totally throwing myself into it!) Hence, this little piece of PTI sweetness. This is an awesome set called Fly Away and is one of their super cheap sets. But, inexpensive in cost never means cheap in quality!! I added Enchanted Evening cs and Kraft cs, double stamped the airplane image, and did LOTS of little tiny cutting for the plane! I even added my OWN little sets of buildings at the bottom and some puffy looking clouds by using lots of light blues in the sky. Hope you like it!
Enjoy!

Sweet Girl!
I finished this layout in March (things have gone from bad to worse around here... but hopefully I'll have a few things on here). The paper and cardstock are from a class I took years ago (I'm using the rest of it for a layout for my dh and I). I used cricut cuts, bella baubles, stickles, and the beautiful pictures are from a photo shoot by a friend of mine. She does a great job! Check her out at Monkey House Photography!
Enjoy!

When the world stops
***UPDATE***
I have wonderful news now (1 week later). Pip and her parents have gotten the best news possible. No radiation or chemo is necessary. There may be a 2nd surgery in 4-6 weeks to get the remaining tumor (if it doesn't shrink on it's own). Otherwise, HOME. Can you believe how great that is?? Thanks for the prayers and well wishes!
Have you ever had your world stop? I hope not. It usually means something terrible has happened. A phone call. A knock on the door. A doctor telling you something dreadful.
I received the phone call. However, my sister and her husband received the dreadful information from the doctor at some point yesterday.
My 14 year old niece was diagnosed with a brain tumor the size of a small orange. She was taken into surgery this morning. Brain surgery.
I absolutely love that girl. I remember the first day I held her. And, I remember the last time I saw her she was at my son's birthday party in January. At 14 she's already grown into loving cardmaking and I'd gotten her a scrapbooking kit for Christmas.
If you pray please pray for her, the doctors, my sister and brother in law.
If you make cards, do so and send them to me. I will get them to her. She will LOVE them.
This is her- isn't she a beauty!
Thanks!
