Baby Shower

My mom was invited to a baby shower a few weeks ago (for a great grandbaby girl) by a woman in her church class. I thought it was wonderful that she was invited! She asked for a card and I was happy to oblige! This is from cs & pp I got in a swap, the image is from a Cricut cart New Arrival. It was very cute in real life!

Scalloped Eloise Greengrass

This is the last of the trio I made w/ PTI, SU, and Bellas. I really love this combo! I will have to figure out a way to get my own paper :-)!! I scalloped both the Bella and her mat (just because I could- and I broke out the nesties to do it instead of my cricut this time).

Superboy w/ PDDU

Lisa's son just had a birthday last month and I finally made his card (son had the flu so we missed the party- but at least her son got his present on time!). He is such a sweetheart of a kid and really SUPER, so I used PDDU cart and cricut again and made him a SUPERboy card :-).

Tinkerbell w/ Cricut PDDU

The other day my sweet girl had a birthday! She loves Tinkerbell but there is NO way I could justify buying the Cricut Tinkerbell cartridge. However, by using a few different images in the Paper Doll Dress Up cart (love it!!) I was able to create my own little girl version of Tinkerbell!

I used DCWV glitter paper, vellum for her tights and wings, and a few stickles.

Belinda Bumbleboots: PTI & SU

Next up is Belinda with more SU dsp and PTI cs. This time I also used a cb folder too. I think this turned out so well. I used my Copics, stickles, and glossy accents for the water.

Big Bow- Stamping Bella

Awhile ago I was able to make a few cards using the same basic supplies. First, I stamped several bellas and colored them. Then, after I picked the printed papers I would use, I stamped the bellas again and cut them out and paper pieced them. All the cs was PTI and dsp (pp) is SU. I am LOVIN’ these colors!! This ribbon is also PTI Lemon Tart. I made such a big bow for this card, but it turned out so nicely, I had to use it!!

Introducing: A New card maker!

My young teenage niece has entered the wonderful world of cardmaking!! (I am happy to announce that this is her first card- or one of her firsts- and I am the happy recipient!).

For her birthday I not only gave her a little spending money to buy some of her own supplies, but gave her a lot of my own stash to start her off.

So, she sent me this card to say "Thank you"

(she even put her own "mark" on the back!)

I am sure she would LOVE to read what my blogging friends and sisters think of her card! She and my sister are regular readers of my blog :-).
