This is the last of my card making frenzy. This was the 3rd sketch I used (and I varied it a bit each time).

Card Making Frenzy 3
Here is 2 more of the same sketch with a different shape and the 3rd card is a different sketch. I love that it is so simple and that it is a get well soon card (I never have enough!).
Enjoy!

Tree House Magic layout
My son loves the "Magic Tree House" series. He loves it SO much that he asked his dad to build him a rope ladder off of his playset (the rope ladder up to the magic tree house is a big deal in the stories). Well, my husband was happy to oblige! So, with a little play on words I made up the "Tree House Magic" layout. Jake was VERY excited to try it out when it was done. I used the cricut for the tree and rope that is on the denim pocket at the bottom left. In the pocket I hid some details about all of this for Jake when he is older (and might not remember).
Enjoy!

Card Making Frenzy 2
This is my 2nd batch of cards from my card making frenzy. I was able to make so many by mass producing... measuring and cutting all the same pieces at the same time (whether with my trimmer or cricut for all the shapes), then doing all the stamping, and finally all the assembly with adhesives.
This was so easy and a lot of fun!
Enjoy!

Card Making Frenzy 1
I had a lot of fun over a few hours (spread over a couple of days or so) with some CTMH cs, PTI cs, white cs, 2 sheets of CTMH Boom-di-ada pp, CTMH ink, some of my favorite stamps (and stamps from sets I have never used!- the stamp, not the set) and my cricut. What was so fascinating to me was the number of cards I was able to make! I used 3 basic sketches, these 3 basic sketches are apparently my favorite (there is 1 more that I know I love, but didn't use it in this card making frenzy).
Here is my first batch.
Enjoy!

CASEd Birthday card
I "CASEd" Cathleen for this card. She did a fab job and I knew immediately I would use this for my father-in-law's birthday card. I used PTI Dark Chocolate cs that I ran through the cuttlebug (love that Swiss Dots folder!). The faux looking leather pp I've had for years now. I believe it's an old J's paper. I used 2 brads and colored them brownish with my copic marker.
Enjoy!

Batman birthday party
These are some of the things I did for my son's Batman Birthday party (all on the cricut- and WITHOUT the new Batman cartridge!!).
I did have the kids make a Jen del Muro crayola box as their craft - but turned it into a Batman candy box! (I'll upload pics soon) Kids were able to decorate it as they wanted to with Batman stickers (glitter Batman stickers for the girls!).
My husband did a lot of the work too in making the boxes for the Gotham City and in the 2nd picture that is Aquaman hanging (needing to be rescued) and the kids would rope the stick between the chairs w/ a Batman "batarang" and then they'd climp up that board to get rescue him.
I made his birthday card by taking his invitation and layering it on the cardstock I used for his party. (he loved it!!)
Enjoy!

Happy Birthday Son!
Today is my son's birthday... and wow, it has been COLD here in TX this week. Therefore, our outdoor party had to be moved indoors and ALL the kids we invited are ALL coming so we've been working like crazy people to create a GOTHAM CITY (i.e. Batman world) for all these kids coming to his party today. YEA cricut!!! (and yes, you WILL see pictures later!)
I "promise" there are a ton of projects on my camera (including his card) ready to be here on my blog... but until this party is over and done, all I can say is "yikes"!
My dad & stepmom had to skip out on coming to the party this year (they don't live close) and after emailing him a description of the party, I thought it best to join him on the skipping out part, ha!
So, in a few hours we'll have over 20 kids aged 6 months to 6 years inside a large room running around after being stuck inside all week long... think about us and all the parents stuck with them! hehe

Thinking of you
You have to love "new" finds, right? Well, I couldn't believe that I found more printed paper that matched PTI cs!! I just love it when that happens!! This is a sketch I got off of the Monday Mojo 109 (back in October... oye, so behind!). The colors are scarlet jewel, sweet blush, chocolate, and new leaf (can you believe it!). That other "pretty" pink solid color is from the back side of the printed paper.
Sentiment is CTMH, of course!
Enjoy!
