These are my collection of "dad's day" cards that were sent/given this year. My husband and our two dads are great! Hopefully you see a theme here with trees- they offer us deep roots, support, shelter, and strength. We are pretty blessed!

Button beauty
I am LOVING this combo!! Pure bliss... Everyday button bits stamp set with Spring Vintage buttons from PTI with Lavender Moon cardstock and ribbon- how is it that I've had this forever and never use it??? The paper coordinates beautifully with Berry Sorbet, another underused color from PTI that I have (the other buttons and sentiment). Can't wait to use it more- I'm thinking some beautiful stationery is in my future!!

Anniversary Card
I made this card for my longtime friend's anniversary. This was actually my 3rd attempt at her card. I had to be just right! I am so glad this one came together and was perfect! It looked exactly like it did in my head (and maybe even a little better). Such a pretty color combo I even wrote it down in my notebook for future use :-)

Best of Friends like Family
This is a layout from January 2009. Can't believe it took this long to scrap it, but I was always so hung up on how I wanted it to look. Everytime I sat down with the pictures nothing seemed right. Glad it is finally in my scrapbook ready to be looked at and enjoyed!

Teacher cards
These are the cards I made for the other "specialty" teachers for my son. See if you can figure out who each card was meant for and I'll tell you who at the bottom. These had to be clean and simple because these were all done while under a lot of stress going on at home. But, I actually loved how they came out and thought my idea was really clever in the end.
Enjoy!

The top cards are for PE teacher and Art.
The next two are for Spanish and Computer (think "Apple" haha).
The last was for Music (I couldn't find a music note, because they really sing at this age, but it was close enough??).
Enjoy!

Teacher Notecards
I wanted Jake's "main" teacher to have some special notecards all to herself. I made eight cards total, included envelopes, and a pen to match, put it all in a clear box and then some extra goodies to say "thanks" for being such an awesome kindergarten teacher!

Graduation Card
The oldest cousin in the "second" generation of cousins on my side of the family is graduating high school. Makes me feel old considering I remember well when she was born. Used a card function on one of the cricut cartridges (I rarely do that) and some PTI shimmer paper and then made a large diploma on the front. Hope she liked it!

Mom's Day cards
These are the cards I made for mother's day. Simple and classy. I changed the colors and kept the design the same for each one.

Happy Anniversary!
Happy Anniversary to my sweet husband! I hope he enjoys this card as much as I loved making it. It is probably one of the most beautiful cards I've made and I was so excited when it was done. No mistakes!! Gotta love that! I've had it hidden for awhile but still pulled it out when he wasn't around for a little inspiration, haha.
Enjoy!
