Strawberry Explosion: Teacher Gifts

This is a picture heavy blog post today!

End of the school year is this coming week (YEA!!!!).  I'm sure my kids are excited, but not by much.  Yes, I was the over achiever all those years, but I'm old now :).  I am ready for homework-free evenings.

As you can see it *appears* as though I went all out for the teachers this year, but really these products made it super simple.  The stamping was amazingly simple and easy and I stayed with the same color theme for each one.  I used DT's idea for a pouch (anyone? who's was it??) from the berry basket die.  I bought cellophane wrap and my daughter insisted on the curly-Q ribbon (and she was right!) and voila!

Butterfly sympathy

I am so in love with Beautiful Butterflies and Winter Wisteria!  I am not usually a butterfly gal.  I have an SU set that I *had* to have ... and then I have rarely used.  I have a few random butterfly stamps, but hardly ever ink them.

This set is amazing.  I have seen a lot of inspiration all over the internet and pinterest.  I knew exactly what I was going to do with it when I got it in my hands.  I even knew the color scheme.  I was just sad that it was for a sympathy occasion, but glad that it was going to my best friend's mom.  I do hope that it brings her a bit of peace in her grief.

Camping (EP Mini Themes)

We recently went camping and while I am usually up to date on scrapping, this way even a little *too good* for me.  But, Echo Park has introduced mini-themes and Camping was one of them.  It was super cheap and right in time for one of our bi-annual trips.

I used this sketch for both kids' layouts and they were done in less than an hour, except for printing and journalling.  LOVE these mini themes!!

Mom's Day #2

Here's my 2nd mom's day card. I used to make cards for my friends, but I haven't worked back up to that yet.  I'm just happy that my MIL and stepmom will have *real* cards this year, lol!

The "mom" is from Echo Park's This and That line (love!).
