I made this gift for my friend and business partner's birthday. Stamped AND embossed. I hoped it would turn out better, but it smells yummy! First, I stamped the flowers in versamark and then embossed them in silver. Then, using CTMH cranberry ink, I stamped the *Seize the Daisy* sentiment all over. Lisa has a thing for daisies. It's very sparkly IRL!
enjoy!

Ladies, Ink November Card challenge
Well, I didn't participate in the September OR October challenges for our blogging group (and here it is at the end of November), but this is my card! I really love how it turned out!! We had to make a Christmas card w/ no red or green (this is as close to Christmas as I can get w/o using red or green!). It says Merry Christmas inside!
I also am using goodies that I won from Cathleen's blog candy!! Yea for winning! I used SUs Almost Amethyst cs, DCWV glitter stack mat for the pom pom, edge of the hat, and vest trim. I used the sentiment from the Sleigh Ride set and the Snowman is cricut. I used my cb folder swissdots on the background at the top.
The sentiment says, "It's lovely weather for a sleigh ride together with you."
Enjoy!

Happy Thanksgiving to all my American readers!
Sorry I have been absent from my blog. Starting tomorrow I will have some posts and (hopefully) will NOT be absent for 2 weeks again (at least for awhile).
Ladies, Ink blogging sisters... I *finally* did a monthly challenge again!! It'll be here tomorrow!
Enjoy your day!

Emma's 4th of July layout
I am usually right on target w/ my scrapping, but when I went to my project list I actually saw that I skipped our 4th of July pics!! So, I went back and scrapped the kids' 4th of July pictures. I used my cricut for the stars and the titles. I wanted to have a really simple layout b/c I actually couldn't think of something "different" to do with the 4th of July pictures!! crazy!
Enjoy!

Baby Girl card
Do you remember my friend that has started her own business? It's called Mimi's Snuggles and I wrote about it in this post here. She recently had her baby (and it was a GIRL!!... they were like us and waited until delivery to find out). They are such a sweet couple with a little boy as a big brother now. I had to use only the BEST of my stash for her card, of course! It is all PTI except for the ribbon. I used the CB swiss dots folder and my cricut cart, New Arrival, to cut out the words "It's a Girl" (also a shadow).
Enjoy!
