Father's Day cards part 2

Here's my next Father's Day card (scroll down a couple of posts to see my first one).  Still using My Hero My Dad... finally using my FIRST impression plate- Woodgrain (go me!!).  How did I wait so long??? And, why did I ever get one of these can now I can't resist them???

Paper is from a big Michael's stack of "boy" paper and I used Kraft and Terracotta Tile cardstock.  Fresh Snow, TT, and DC inks.  DC Baker's Twine and sewing (with a TT button).

Enjoy!

Great card, Kristin. I love my Wood grain impression plate too!! The zig zag stitching and the little label are fun details.

Seriously, how did you ever resist them for so long? And, yes, it's a slippery slope... Love you card with it's muted colors and lots of texture! I use my grandma's old Singer and it can't do zigzag, so I'm way jealous of this look, too :) Great job!

Great color scheme, really like the card a lot. And whooo-hooo for the IP. I'm itching to get one...maybe in September (hahaha!) I just got my Cuttlebug today - good thing I snagged it before the dies I've ordered arrive. :)

Great masculine card. That woodgrain plate is fab, isn't it. Don't know how you resisted them for so long! Love the combination of your sewing and the twine - so effective :)

No...you won't be able to resist many of the impression plates. I turned my eyes for along time and then took the plunge. Love how you used it - added a lot of detail to your card without a lot of fuss!
