Do we know how to party???

My daughter turned 4 in early October. She LOVES Tink (hence the card made with Tink cricut cart & PTI supplies), but she fell in love with Jessie from Toy Story. So, I obliged and made an ALL OUT Jessie party for her and her friends. Yes, everything you will see was done by me and my cricut (no border dies available yet... plus, cricut has a cart if I ever am crazy enough to do that again!!). All supplies were PTI cardstock, CTMH cardstock, or scraps I've had forever.

Enjoy!

PTI November Blog Hop

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Today is my 2nd time to enter the PTI blog hop!! Here is my entry (Holiday Tags are the theme):

I cut out (what looked like a good tag to me) from the Lacy Labels cricut cart at 3 1/4" out of Rustic Cream cs and punched a hole in it. I took a strip of Pinefeather cs (rounded the edges with a corner rounder) and Pure Poppy Distressed Dots strip (rounded edges) and set aside. I pulled out the Mini Scrapbook Series: Tabs set and PP ink and stamped the top of the tag to give it some definition and added PP Baker's Twine. Adhered the 2 strips one on top of the other. The scallop is pure poppy cs (cricut) at 1 3/4", and 1 1/2" circle. I used Background Basics: Christmas (text) in Antique Linen from Ranger Inks on Stamper's Select cs. The sentiment is from Holiday Spirits Sentiments in PP ink. Finally, (my tag looked lonely) so I pulled out Fine Linen cs and made a Real Dial size 1" ticket with the cricut and stamped the lines and To/From from Just the Ticket in Versamark.

Pull out ALL your goodies girls (and Ted, and dad)... you never know how they can be used for fun!!

enjoy!

Love me some Emma!

At a crop about 2 months ago I worked (and finished several layouts). This was one. I have searched for the sketch I used and can't find it. If you recognize it, let me know. I used Pink Paislee pp (that includes the tag at the bottom), PTI ribbon and cs, and CTMH ink for distressing. Cricut cuts for her name and it was done. This was the "final" page for her 1-3 yr book, but it is the "introduction" page. It's how I complete a book. Always leave the first page empty, then go back when I decide a book is "done" and take a photo from around the beginning of that book and one from around the end (usually faves that didn't get used elsewhere) and create the intro page. I am TOTALLY in love with this page!!

enjoy!

TTT: Male bday

Masculine birthdays are sooooo hard! But, I'm finally amassing enough "supplies" and techniques that they don't make me quiver and feel sick to my stomach anymore. I just a tad nervous before I begin and need to pray a bit (hehe). Seriously, the more I do the easier it seems to be. This was for our best friend's birthday a couple of months ago. Cuttlebugged the top, lots of distressing, "boy" pattern paper (pp) at the bottom, PTI stamp, ink, and cs.

Enjoy!

To Infinity and Beyond....

In September my longtime friend and business partner's little guy turned three. He is completely and totally into Toy Story and so I HAD to make a Buzz Lightyear card for him. It was lots of layering with all PTI cs (except the face and white). Then, I put vellum over the top for the shield to give it a more realistic look and IRL it is amazing!! The card was so great!! Love my cricut!

Enjoy!

Is it a boy or girl??

Our oldest neice on my husband's side keeps making us older... we are about to be "great uncle and aunt" for the THIRD time. Seriously, I am not 40 yet. Being married to a man who's oldest brother had kids young who then turned around and she has had kids young... sheesh. I mean, don't they all want to be like us?? Old and still dealing with preschool? Um, no. In fact, my oldest brother in law likes to remind us that at my husband's age all his kids could drive. Yea, well. We did whatever we wanted for a looooong time before we had kids! :-)

I digress (a lot). She's having another baby and we are super excited (and hoping for the husband that he gets a boy!). But, funny, because they've had a couple of sono's and no one can tell! So, I made the generic green/yellow card. HA!

SU dsp and cs, PTI ribbon, stamping bella baubles, cricut cut.

Enjoy!

Rock On!

I am finally posting the projects I did in August/September. This was for our best friends' oldest daughter. She is now nine. Painfully old am I too. But, she rocks... so she needed a very cool card! CTMH paper, PTI cs and stamp, lots of stickles, cricut cuts, and some cute ricrac ribbon I got from CTMH.

Enjoy!

Mix it up

For my best friend's birthday I made her a gift of personalized stationery and a mini scrapbook. I used some old SU dsp and paired it with PTI Berry Sorbet (cs and polka dot ribbon and ink) and Scarlet Jewel. The stamp set was Simply Stationery (love it!). I have had some white rub-ons from CTMH from maybe 2007 (?) and used it on her scrapbook. She needed something that she only cut up pictures and taped them down! She is one busy lady!!

Hope you enjoy!

Emma's Cards

Yes, as the title says... ALL of these cards were made completely by my daughter (3 at the time)!! She picks the paper, stamps, colors, and does ALL the work (including the stamping!!). Isn't she a great little card-maker?? Love it!

Enjoy!

First day of First Grade! Sad, but this cute boy posed WITHOUT me asking him too!! His idea!!! Oh goodness :-)... anyway, Cricut cuts and PTI stamps, paper I have had forever (!!), and a layout that I got off of a great blog (but I have now lost my notes, yikes!... so please let me know if you recognize this sketch- I definitely want to give credit!).
