I tried a Zindorf!

Hi all! There is a true artist in the blogging/stamping world... Michelle Zindorf. She has these amazing tutorials on her blog using a rubber brayer and inks after clear embossing a colored stamp image.

I finally had to try. I inked this stamp up and colored with copics. I used versamark over the image and clear embossed it.

Then, I masked off the bottom and used CTMH amethyst, petal, and hydrangea (from lightest near the edge touching the brown and working to the top of the card) on the top. I masked the top part and then used CTMH chocolate, desert sand, and cocoa (moving from the purple to the bottom).

I stamped the sentiment, tied brown grosgrain ribbon ("earthtones" as my dh said- hehe) and matted the image panel. Finally, I matted on the white cs.

Enjoy!
Kristin

Saw you on the MFT forums last night but my baby was cranky on and off so I didn't hang around to long. Aren't those paper dolls amazing!

That's really gorgeous. Is that your Christmas cards this year? If so, you've got a lot of work ahead of you; you've got a lot of friends!
