Quilted Gate Fold Card

Gate cards are pretty popular, but I rarely do them... mostly b/c they are hard to keep closed.
I decided I wanted to try one with a new technique I read about- quilted card.
Essentially, you score your cs every inch on the diagonal and then rotate the card and do again. It creates a pretty diamond "quilt" pattern and the dry embossing gives a cool texture.
I also used adjustable scallop oval from Okie. The image is Hero Arts, which I stamped in dark brown, then used the blender pen with CTMH Buttercup and Sunflower inks. The pink heart was also done with a blender pen and a cheap inkpad from J's. Lots of sponging, and done!
Enjoy!

How cute and I agree they are hard to keep open without making it difficult for people to open them. TFS
