And for the final technique in the contest...
Tone on tone stamping... obviously you need the same (or very similar) INK and PAPER. That's really it. I totally made it monochromatic b/c I liked the look as I developed the card, but the only requirement was the "coffee break" sentiment to be in the same ink as the color of the paper.
The b&t paper comes with that great polka dot design, the cuttlbug... if you've not discovered it is WONDERFUL for dry embossing (then sand a white-core paper or use a GREAT white ink to make it pop).
